The winery of the family Schmid in Gobelsburg was founded in 1940, nowdays the 3rd and 4th generation are running the estate.

Right to the slogan: The quality occurs in the vineyard, in the cellar the refinement is created.

Andreas foster with passion his vineyards, which are located around the village Gobelsburg and Langenlois, with sustainable cultivation a perfect grape material is guranteed for the wines of the wine estate. Furthermore in the cellar the enologist give ine’s best, causing gently workmanship of the grapes a foundation is laid, controlled fermentation and later a storage in stainless steel tanks and/or big oak barrels, gives each wine his very own character. With the best his daughter Verena is supporting him.

Alexandra organize with passion the wine tavern, which is also located at the winery. Bread she is producing by herself, also spreads and local desserts are everything produced from scratch .
